Governing Council

The Governing Council is responsible for the administration and execution of UTA's activities. Its powers and functions are to:

  1. a. Take administrative decisions, including participation in various activities, selection of candidates for various positions and office bearers of collaborative organizations, and selection of papers for various Symposia, Workshops, Seminars and Congress.
  2. b. Consider and decide on applications for membership.
  3. c. Prepare annual and other plans of activities.
  4. d. Prepare the annual budget.
  5. e. Appoint auditors.
  6. f. Set up committees as deemed necessary or as directed by the General Assembly.
  7. g. Take measures to implement the decisions of the General Assembly and its own decisions.
