Structure
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the supreme body of UTA, setting policy and direction for the association. Its powers and functions are to:
- a. Act as the supreme body of the Association.
- b. Lay down policies, indicate priorities and elect the Governing Council.
- c. Give judgments on matters related to the interpretation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations.
- d. Approve the annual report and audited statement of accounts.
- e. Approve the annual plan of activities proposed by the Governing Council.
- f. Exercise the power to amend, as necessary, the provisions of the Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations as per the prescribed procedure.
